Pendofsky is the original project of bassist Marcin Pendowski, ex-bassist of Fisz.
In 2015, he was awarded the Mateusz Trójka Award for Jazz Debut of the Year for his album Pendofsky. In 2020, his second album Gumolit was released, featuring guest appearances by Tomek Organek and Rey Ceballo of Buena Vista Social Club. The album was nominated for Fryderyk awards in as many as five categories. The artist is currently promoting his latest, third album, #kuratorium, premiered on 09.10.24 at the Bardzo club in Warsaw.
Kuratorium was recorded on tape at TonnStudio, and for it, the artist created a 12-person brass band: Warsaw Funky Horn Ensemble.
Pendofsky is an orchestra man: he composes, arranges, is a music and video producer, has his own studio and a publishing company, Judasz Records.
The album #kuratorium will be the artist’s first album, recorded after the traffic accident of 2021. The cover was designed by Przemek Matecki, whose work is on permanent display at the National Museum.
Pendofsky is available for purchase at Empik’s retail network, Spotify, iTunes and Bandcamp.
